The CBP One™ app is designed to streamline access to various CBP services by guiding users through a series of questions to quickly direct them to the features they require. Currently, the app offers two main features: the Inspection Appointment request feature for requesting inspections of perishable cargo entering the U.S., and the I-94 feature for travelers to apply and pay for their I-94 up to seven days before arrival. Users can also access real-time status updates, chat with CBP Agriculture Specialists, and view up to 5 years of travel history through the app. In the upcoming year, CBP One™ plans to introduce additional features catering to various operators such as Small Vessel Operators, Bus Operators, Aircraft Operators, Seaplane Pilots, commercial truck drivers, and Commercial Vessel Operators. These new features aim to enhance the user experience and provide more convenient access to CBP services for a wider range of users. While the CBP One™ I-94 feature is available nationwide, the ability to schedule appointments for perishable cargo inspections is currently limited to participating Ports of Entry (POE). Users are advised to contact their respective POE for more information on accessing this specific feature through the app. The app's expansion of services and features demonstrates CBP's commitment to modernizing and improving user access to essential customs and border protection services.
