The BlueParrott App is a free app that offers a range of extra features to personalize and enhance your BlueParrott headset. One of the features is the BlueParrott Button™, which allows you to program your headset's button from your mobile device and get fast access to your favorite features such as mute, speed dial, and more. This feature applies to BlueParrott headsets with a BlueParrott Button™, such as B650-XT, S650-XT, M300-XT, B550-XT, B450-XT (BPB-45020), B450-XT Classic, B350-XT (BPB-35020), B350-XT, C400-XT, C300-XT, and S450-XT.
Another feature of the BlueParrott App is easy firmware updates. The B650-XT, S650-XT, M300-XT, and B450-XT (BPB-45020) enable firmware updates over-the-air using the app, so you can ensure your headset performs without having to connect your headset to the computer. Additionally, the app allows you to hear text messages in your BlueParrott headset. For Android phones, the SMS Reader reads incoming text messages through your headset, while iPhone uses Siri for text-to-speech. A2DP-enabled headset is required, including B650-XT, S650-XT, M300-XT, B550-XT, B450-XT (BPB-45020), B450-XT Classic, B350-XT (BPB-35020), B350-XT, B250-XTS, C400-XT, C300-XT, and S450-XT.
