The driving force behind this ambitious project is director and YouTuber "Ccmaci." He embarked on this endeavor with the initial goal of giving a voice to "everything" in Hollow Knight, but as the project progressed over two years, he realized the magnitude of the undertaking. They delved into character motivations and backstories to breathe life into the NPCs. For instance, the voice actress for Hornet, "Alycoris," invested time in understanding the character's fierce yet determined nature, as Hornet plays a pivotal role in the game and takes the lead in its sequel, Silksong.

While the Hallownest Vocalized mod was a labor of love from the fan community, it aimed to enhance the immersive experience for both long-time fans and newcomers alike.
